***NEW BorgWarner S200SXE and S300SXE's available at WSRD!***

BorgWarner's latest and greatest from their Airwerks lineup, the S200SXE and S300SXE are now available! We just received these two S300SXE's in 62.99mm for a V8 drag car project we're building here at the shop.

These turbos feature the latest compressor cover, compressor wheel, and turbine blade aero, and massively outflow their older counterparts! They also have pre-machined boost and shaft speed sensor ports, all you need to do is use the proper size drill bit and they're ready to go.

Photo courtesy of BorgWarner Turbo Systems.

These turbos are ordered as supercores (without turbine housings), and the turbine housing is ordered separately depending on the application requirements. Don't hesitate to ask me for advice on turbo/turbine housing sizing!

We get killer deals on these turbos; I don't think there's another brand on the market that offers this much performance per dollar! PM me for a quote!
I can't advertise these prices!

S200SXE on far right, S300SXE center. Photo courtesy of BorgWarner Turbo Systems.

The S200SXE is availabe in two sizes:

52.17/69.59mm compressor, 70/61mm turbine
57/76.2mm compressor, 70/61mm turbine

and is available with four different turbine housings, all in T4 divided:

.83 A/R
1.00 A/R
1.15 A/R
1.22 A/R

The S300SXE is available in six different sizes, all with 360 degree thrust bearings for the ultimate in high boost durability!:

61.44/83mm compressor, 76mm/68mm turbine
61.44/83mm compressor, 79.7mm/73.3mm turbine
62.99/87mm compressor, 79.7mm/73.3mm turbine
64.47/87mm compressor, 79.7mm/73.3mm turbine
66.11/91mm compressor, 79.7mm/73.3mm turbine
69.00/91mm compressor, 79.7mm/73.3mm turbine

and has three turbine housing options:

.88 A/R T4 open
.91 A/R T4 divided
1.00 A/R T4 divided

We've made 650whp (32psi) on a 2.0liter Evo on the old 62mm FMW with the 76/68 turbine. The new E version would be a monster on a VE!

I apologize for the quality and the lack of torque curve, the rpm pickup wasn't working on the dyno at the time.

Most likely going this route for my 2j build, whp goal is around 550-650whp. I've been doing my research & diff comp maps of sxe turbos and debating to go with the SXE 7670 (S257) - but turbo will most likely be maxed out at around 600whp (don't know how conservative BW is with their compressor maps).

Prime option is the Divided SXE 8376 (S362). Just not quite sure which compressor wheel to go with, and A/R turbine housing. This will be on a street/track setup. Guessing 62mm/83mm with 1.00 A/R divided?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, pm-wise or here so others can benefit. Thanks.

You are correct, the S200SXE should support just north of 600whp with a maximized setup (cams, intake manifold, E85, etc).

The 62mm compressor wheel will definitely meet your 650whp goals, even with the smaller 76mm turbine wheel. That will be an extremely quick spooling turbo on a 2JZ. We've made 650whp with a two liter on the old S362FMW. I would recommend the 1.00 turbine housing since it's a larger engine.

The smallest S300SXE is the 61.44mm, which is available with the S360's 76/68 turbine (I'm not sure if it's a new design like the 80mm turbine in the rest of them). I can't seem to locate a compressor map for the 61.44mm wheel specifically, but to give you a rough idea of the gains over the old style wheels and housings, here's the new 66mm SXE vs the old S366. I'm betting the 61.44 spools almost identical to the S360.

The 52mm S200SX in a .83 or 1.00 housing fits that bill perfectly! Super quick spool and transient response with the ability to support 500whp.

can you guide me

i am in search of a turbo, for my built rb25det, i was looking the efr8374, the efr7670, and now the affordable s200sxe7670, i want a fast spool turbo, so far i see the efr is almost same size as the gtx3582 but better, also expensive, the efr 7670 is smaller than the gt3582 but same power respond and faster, now the s200sxe, has the same characteristics in dimentions as the efr7670 but it is trust bering, can you help me compare response and power between these last two, efr and s200sxe, and if you can send price, thanx

The EFR 7670 is going to be the response winner. The TiAl turbines in the EFR range are really light, meaning transient response and boost threshold times are decreased. It unfortunately is having a hard time living up to it's 63lb/min flow capability; there aren't too many people making over 550whp with them.

The S200SXE is definitely the budget and power king of the two, and is still going to respond awesome in one of the smaller turbine housings.

You have a PM good sir.

I am interested and doing a sxe 8376. I have a 1JZ GTE in my sc300 with a 8375 aka s360 turbo and it made 505whp and 433tq on just pump gas with 550cc on stock Ecu and stock cams. I am changing my setup at the moment. 1200cc, flex fuel and a Ecu Master EMU standalone. I'm hoping for 600-650whp but I plan to make 700-800 in the near future.

What turbo do you suggest for me? I want something that isn't too laggy.but doesn't fall off on the top end aswell. The s360 I have on my 1jz is single scroll with .88AR

Thanks

You have a choice to make. You can keep similar response, and have a 700whp capable turbo in the 61 mm SXE with 76mm turbine, or you can have a bit laggier setup with the 64mm and 80mm turbine, but you'll be able to reach the 800whp goal.

I'd vote the smaller turbo and concentrate your efforts on the rest of the system to make more power.

Yes. It is the only one to have the option for the 76mm or 80mm turbine.

The 80mm turbine is brand new for this model, I'm not sure if the 76 is or not.

Have a quick question and hopefully you can help. I was referred to get a 7670 for my 2.0 Buick regal. I currently have an EFR 7163 now; only making 450whp on E85--- I was told I can easily make 550whp with this set up; just wondering if it is worth the switch. I can easily sell my EFR and have an even trade, but is it worth sacrificing the liquid cool; aluminum housing, ball bearing? There hasn't been any reliability posts yet, but the cheaper price tag makes me wonder how much it will out perform my current turbo.... thanks for any help

It's definitely not going to spool like the 7163 does. With an optimized engine you should be able to make ~550whp with the 7163, I would agree. These turbos definitely flow more, but at the sacrifice of slower spool. The S200SXE is going to allow you to hit the 600whp mark, and the S300SXE range starts at 700whp. I would stick to the 7163 for a street car personally.

I would like a very responsive turbo for my 1jz. It is running a mild cam (2jz USDM cam) and 380cc injectors, right now i have a 64mm s363 .98 a/r, it is extremely laggy, like full boost at 5k rpm. I would like a turbo that is at full boost by 3200 rpm. Which would be best and are these journal or ball bearing turbos? looking to make 550hp max, maybe 600
