2JZGTE VVTI low idle when warm

When cold it starts right up and idles fine but when it gets past 170/180 it wants to idle around 300 and die.

Also what should it idle at cold?

bone stock 2j
oem ecu
stock injectors
small single

runs amazing unless I come to a stop lol

Any help would be great I wanna drive this damn thing

idle is controlled by airflow mostly

let more air into the engine somehow

you could simply open a vacuum leak
or drill a hole in the throttle body
or find out why the IACV/DBW isn't doing this for you

Could the TPS being out of adjustment cause this?

Try adjusting throttle cable to have less slack. I had the same issue and that fixed my problem. I thought it was a boost leak at first but ended up being that my idle was set so low it would drop rpm and die when coming to a stop.
