Please stop replying in this thread if you dont have a known "97-98 5speed ECU"
To the guy with the J7 ecu.....that ecu is an auto ecu for a 97. The car might have been converted to a 5 speed and started and ran but it would have had a lot of CELs J7 = 97-98 240sx SE AT[auto] (KA24DE) (A18-H64-GA4) OBDII Emissions I need WM ecu WM = 97-98 240sx MT (KA24DE) (A18-F34-G16) OBDII Emissions Once again I am not stupid so dont try to pawn off your OBDI or auto ecu's on me because I know the difference. I also do not want to try some hacked up converted ecu that may or may not have worked on your car |

I have a J6 - A18-H63 GA3
Removed from a legitimate 1997 Vehicle Manual Trans ECU is known to be good, car was driven to the shop for a swap. Price is $85 SHIPPED. Let me know if this will work.

auto ECUs won't work I went through all this recently on my 98 auto to 5speed swap OP - JWT site has info on what's needed to be done to make a zenki 5speed ECU work I personally didn't try this method, ended up sourcing a 97 ECU |
