Usually the liscense plate in the front is the name of the bodykit. So it could be edge? It's a guess so please don't quote me on this.

I was thinking that as well, but I don't even know where to search for bodykits really. I tried the zilvia links and couldn't find that kit.
Also, is that car in your sig yours? If so, I'm guessing it's turboed. Could you tell me about how much it cost you to get it turboed and what was involved? I'm thinking of going the same route. |

Yes, that's my car, but the turbo kit is sitting in my garage. I'm waiting on my clutch to come in (which should be today). but I can give you advice based on my research. If you're going to turbo the KA, your most cost effective route is building your own kit. There aren't that many components, just the obvious, Turbo Manifold, wastegate etc. The downside to this route is that it will take a little longer than buying a kit that comes put together already. A kit will run you between $3,300 (NSPORT) and $4,000(FMAX). These prices are through ROLLHARD.com. I went with XS engineering, which runs more bends (more lag) but looks better than both of these kits. And I am in the show scene so that was my personal preference. Xs will run you $3,400 through I-M racing.com. If you have a good head knowledge of motors, the install is pretty simple because all of the kits are bolt on. If not, the price really depends on who will do the install for you. Also, if you are looking for more power in the long run (rebuilding the bottom end) then I would definitely recommend putting your own kit together so that you can pick and choose the size of the turbo, injectors, etc. Because these kits come with turbos that may not provide the boost you will want in the long run. I hope this helps you out.

How much do you think it would cost to piece a whole turbo kit together and who makes intake piping and all that stuff. You know from the turbo to intercooler to the intercool to the intake manifold and stiff like that?

BOMEX, what year is your 240? It looks like a '95-'96 series. If that's right, where did you get the front piece that mounts on the tip of your hood and covers your headlights a little?
P.S. Your car is DOPE! |

The Silvia "Bible" is a book on tuners, parts, rims, etc for the S13, S14 and S15. It's by Hyper REV and I got mine from http://www.kit-dynamics.com . But note, it's entirely in Japanese, but full of pics though!
just look under accessories... or email them. |
