Life kicked my ass I need advice

Well like the title says life kicked my ass. During my second deployment I build my dream car on paper over and over every day I had free time. Life was pretty good I had accumulated close to 70k in savings from re-enlistment and my back to back deployments. Fast forward to about 3 months ago when I picked up a super clean shell with sr swap and some other odds and ends for 6k. I now have about 20k wrapped up into my project even though it doesnt look like it lol. However I'm getting divorced my house got robbed and my wife stole all the money from my accounts. I no longer have the money to finsih the car but im unsure how to get the most money out of everything. I would like to sell the car as is with all the parts included but im not sure if i would be able to bring in any worth while offers. Should I try to sell together or part it out? Any advice would be appreciated. General specs- 93 s13 hatch clean dash(untracked) currently has door panel up interior with modified cusco cage in it. Silvia front 180 kouki rears, mint 180 seats(not installed). suspension- BC coils, ST front and rear sways(uninstalled),TEIN inner/outer tie rods(uninstalled),SPL-tension,traction,toe,and rear upper arms(uninstalled). Custom rear strut tower bar(matches cage). Cusco modified 6 point cage. Most of the money is tied up in the engine and new turbo set up. Its a standard bottom end build weisco pistons, eagle rod,ACL main and rod bearings, cometic head gasket, gismo timing chain guide. Still on stock cams but with BC valves, BC springs and retainers. The new setup I just finished is a mazworx intake manifold and fuel rail with 1000cc top feed fuel injectors, q45 throttle body, Full race top mount gt3076 turbo kit with dual external 38 mm tial waste gates, 3in. down pipe to a new 3in. apexi n1 cat-back, koto radiator, power steering relocated, coolant overflow relocated, all lines and fittings are AN/braided lines, All vac. lines have been replaced with pneumatic push lock lines/fittings. Semi-tucked wiring specialties harness, tuned on AEM v2 stand alone with 3 AEM digital gauges- boost, oil pressure, wideband. Car sits on enkei rpf1's, 300 zx front and rear brake conversion powder coated calipers and stainless lines. I have so many other random little things that would take forever to type. The thing that kills the car is that its flat black and the slivia front end is just black(the way it was shipped to me). I hate to get rid of it because it was my dream to build a sick s13 just the way I wanted it. So if you were me what would you do? Part it out or try to sell it as a whole?

^^^ Exactly sell it as part out and then get a cheap twin cam KA and throw it in and sell it as a running car. If you're in a time crunch then you kinda gotta take a loss on it. No one will pay you 25k for your car let alone 10k

I know that there is now way I can get anywhere near 20k for the car. What I was hoping to do is around 10-12 from everything though.

Second that. People would just buy a 350z or g35 for 10k if they had the cash to blow. That's the one thing about these s chassis is that you never get your money back. But throw it up there on the market place for your asking price and take pre-orders on part out's.

Jesus Christ! If I had a nickel for everytime I heard about a military bud being fucked over by their wife. One of my co-workers won't race me at the track because he "can't afford the $20 track fee". His wife spent all his money while we were deployed. Asked him how he still allows this to happen and he sez, "because I love her". I say, get that sh*t outta my house. Seriously though, parting out is the only way to sell a 240sx. You won't regret taking the time and energy to pull off the parts and run them to the post office. People won't pay jack-sh*t for a tastefully modified 240.

I suggest you do whatever you can to keep your car.

Beg a friend to hold onto it until you are back up on your feet. And most important, stay the fuck away from these low-balling dick-suckers on Zilvia.

Good luck.

1. change bank accounts and split into 3 accounts
2. put everything under someone's name you trust in legal document or sell for a $buck in legal form of receipt. (receipt can be hand written) (This is returned to after divorce. MUST BE DONE 7 months before divorce papers signed.)
3. sell everything you don't want under legal document. (half of this goes to the EX after Divorce.)
4. Enjoy your WIN!!!
5. get a badass lawyer

This was advice from a friend mine, whose father was a top notch lawyer from Chi-town. If anything ever happened to me. But here's something for you.

she took your money but will have to return it in the end when divorce is finals.

In all seriousness, just part it out. Set a good price for each item. It might take a while for you to do it but you will get your money back.

Don't sell the shell, just put a basic KA24E/DE in it so you at least have a commuter. Those engines are $300

I'm nobody to be giving advice, but in my opinion you should do what ixfxi said. Try and hold on to your car.
