S13 roof skin options

Hey guys just need some opinions. My new chassis is in great shape but my roof is fucked. Looks like some fuck face sat on it. It's beyond PDR as well. I figure three options.

1. Cut a roof skin from another car and have someone weld it in. Most expensive (I can weld but I'm not that good. Nor have I ever removed a window like that)

2. Get an nrg carbon roof skin and seam it in myself (cheaper, but not something I've done before)

3. I've beat it out as much as possible. It looks like the metal has definitely stretched. So I could also fill the absolute shit out of it. Although I don't know how well it will come out.

Im sure someone has been in my situation, so just looking for everyone's 2c. The threads I found about roof skins are almost 10 years old.

Yeah, it's been a while since most s13 owners cared about the condition of their roofs. I don't understand why, because they're beautiful cars, not just throwaway tools like most people seem to think.

If I were in your position, I'd probably go with the carbon roof. You don't need to worry about sourcing a roof from a donor, and you don't have to worry about adding a ton of bondo (although bondo glass is pretty awesome to work with)

Yeah, plus it's only the center skin that's fucked. Plus I could seam that in myself. It's going to be my daily so it's something I'd need to do in a weekend

From what I've seen it doesn't look bad. Cut the roof skin leaving a lip for the carbon to adhere to. Trim, get seals, and put it in. I did my .5 full fiberglass conversion myself so I've got some hands on with shapeing panels and what not. I feel like its something I could do. My only fear is when the body is under stress how would the chassis flex
