tire size drift drag and axles

hi guys

im building an s13 with ls2 engine and i want to know what tire size you recommend for drifting and drag racing.

im thinking of using hoosier 275/40/r17 17315DR2 im not sure if thats enough to hook and if it will break the axle have anyone used driveshaft shop axles if so what do you recommend 600hp or 900hp axles is it possible that they would break?
if so should just stick with the stock axles and replace them often ?
i dont think its possible to change the input shaft from 6bolt open diff with tomei 2 way lsd to 5 bolts?

and for drifting does size make difference in tire life? im not sure if i should go with 275 or 245 i know wider tires mean more speed but what else to consider? im thinking of using ns-20 or ss595

Perhaps you should do quite a bit more research. This information is abundantly available and has been discussed thousands of times on this particular forum alone.
