CLEAN 1988 Mazda RX-7 V8 6 Speed Custom Paint Highly Modified
ASKING $14,500. ************CRAIGSLIST AD LINK************ http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/5615084035.html VIDEO OF THE CAR FROM 5/28/2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADy-8ob6oEE Up for sale is my 1988 Mazda RX-7 with a LT1 5.7l V8 swap and T56 6 speed manual transmission. I have built this car over the last 5 years and it has been my most rewarding and expensive build yet! I never thought this day would come but I am getting older and buying a home so it is just time to part ways with her. I will try to remember all the mods I have done over the years. I have pictures of everything and all the phases of the build so please feel free to contact me if you're a serious buyer and I am happy to share them with you. This car is priced at what I feel is fair for the amount of man hours put in, the parts put on and the sheer enjoyment of owning a car that is unlike any other. MOD LIST Exterior- S4 to S5 full exterior conversion (moldings, front and rear bumpers) House of Kolor Kandy Apple Red Paint (9 stage paint job, professionally done, not a maaco job) Shine Auto Project Molded 30mm Widebody front and rear Shine Auto Project S5 front half bumper Shine Auto Project Spec R sideskirts Shine Auto Project Rear Valences Shine Auto Project Rear hatch spoiler Galaxy Black Metallic Hatch Shaved emblems S4 TurboII Aero Mirrors Galaxy Black Metallic engine bay Suspension/ Brakes- Cusco Front and Rear strut bars K Sport Kontrol Pro coilovers with dampening slotted for aggressive camber adjustment Disconnected front sway bar DTSS rear elimators Cross drilled and slotted rotors all around Candy Painted TurboII calipers Wilwood Brake master/ slave with stainless lines Lighting- 8k Hid Headlights Black housing 7x6 lamps Led FTP strips Yellow Jspec Foglights AZRX7 LED Taillight Inserts JDM S5 taillights with diffusers removed and clear coated lenses Engine/ Performance- 1996 Camaro SS LT1 5.7l SBC fuel injected (roughly 82,000 miles) T56 6 speed Manual Transmission C4 Corvette Aluminum Drive shaft with custom yoke Air Conditioning Delete Power Steering Delete Alternator Relocation Custom Cold Air Intake Custom dual 2.5" stainless TIG welded exhaust with dual "Dumpy" titanium tip mufflers (only set I have ever seen) Hooker Shorty Headers heat wrapped with Titanium Wrap Full ECU re-flash with race tune AEM 320LPH Fuel Pump Limited Slip Differential C6 Corvette Radiator/ Fan setup with adjustable temp controller ProSport Oil pressure Gauge ProSport Temp Gauge Autometer Volts Gauge Interior- Full Black Interior swap Bride Replica Seats Sparco Seat Brackets (not mounted) Cusco Safety 21 Bolt in half Roll Cage Color Matched Candy Apple Red NRG Suede steering wheel with red stitching Carbon Fiber Shift Knob Black suede with red stitching shift boot Relocated battery with Killswitch Rear seat delete Stealth push button start Wheels/ Tires- True 3 piece Enkei Algernon Intelesse custom built by VRWheels Power coated Satin Bronze Faces with centercaps All new Hardware Polished step lips 4.5" in the front and 5" in the rear 18x10 +0 in the front Federal 595 215/35 18x11 +0 in the rear Federal 595 235/40 The car has been running and driving for over 4 years with absolutely no issues. Starts up every time, runs great, hauls ass. It's a 28 year old car so it has its minor issues but nothing that can't be fixed easily with a little TLC and a junkyard car for parts. The molded over fenders, bodywork and paint is nearly flawless and less than a year old. The car is perfect other than a two tiny cracks near the wheel wells on the quarters from when I lowered it too much when I was dialing the suspension in.. Most people don't even see it but it drives me crazy. There is no radio. It's wired for one but I never put on in it. You can't lock the car, it needs new cylinders and possibly latches. The passenger side door needs a new window switch ($20 part) The speedometer and tach are not hooked up, you can get a GPS speedometer for super cheap but I've never had a need for it. I just go with the flow of traffic or a little faster . . .. That's about all I can think of for the negatives. All simple fixes that I just haven't ever got around to because I only drive the car a couple times a month and it's usually just for meets or a Sunday cruise. I am happy to answer any questions and schedule showings at my discretion. I don't want any trades. Please don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. I hope she finds a loving home, if I had a few plane hangers to stash a few hundred cars and cash to burn I would fly over and pick her up. I spy my car in Johnnys pic.
