Distributor wont Slide in

Said i wouldnt make another post but i dont have time to diagnose i need my shit running ive tried to figure it iut but cant. Just did my headgasket, with motor in car. Timed the motor to the marks i made before pulling it apart, looked at pictures i took as well.

I cant slide the distributor in, i tried putting some grease on it but it wont help.

I cranked the motor and made sure its compression stroke at TDC

did you get the head machined at all? that can cause this. otherwise twist it a little and jiggle while jamming it in

If you use the wrong o-ring can cause this too...
