Hey everyone!
New member, long time lurker. Currently on my 3rd S Chassis, which is a 1995 Nissan 240sx. my other 2 were s13 Hatches that were drift missiles and not complete. Local to the Hampton Roads area in VA if anyone is local hit me up! Current build is going to be a complete restore/slight mod. Going to make it look like it just came off the showroom floor! Thanks! Finally Finished My RB25DET S13 Silvia - Road Trip Time!
Hello, newbie here. Long time lurker - I have used this website extensively to do research for my own car, this is my first S-chassis. One of my favourite cars in the world was the two tone Silvia S13. Unfortunately I never saw one pop up in the 2 years Ive been looking. This car came up solid white, around 85% done. I ended up finishing it, piecing back together the interior and rewiring a bunch of stuff. Im a big fan of OEM "Resto-mod" style. Long story short it is finally done, and I will be moving to Vancouver from Toronto by driving it there!
Here are some photos I took and edited today: Wont go into too much details of the car, but its a stock S1 RB25DET running on 10psi. We got a bit of nice weather today so i made this clip if you want the full details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5g74FSZEE0 Anyway because Im moving, I decided to drive and take the long route. Essentially doing a huge U of USA. I always wanted to see the southern areas, and fortunately I have a few friends to visit along the way. I will be sleeping in the car or camping out whenever I can though. Just doing it on a budget. Kind of like backpacking which I did a lot of a few years back. Only in a car. Google limits the amount of cities you can route so I maped it in two parts. First Half: Detroit, Cincinnati, Tale of the Dragon, Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, Elpaso. Second Half: Phoenix, Las Vegas, LA, San Fransisco, Portland, Seattle and finally Vancouver. Well I will be leaving sometime next week. Packing the car full of my stuff and doing one last oil change on the car. Will also put the car on jackstands to do a full nut and bolt on it, just to make sure it is solid and ready to go. I thought Id share this post considering how much Ive used Zilvia for manuals, wiring, ect. Ill probably break down, I mean its a 30 year old car after all. Just depends where and when. If you are on the way come say hi! Thanks for reading! |

If you are new, introduce yourself! NO PICTURES
Hello everyone. New to the forums
I just picked up a 1990 240sx ka24e. This is my first 240sx I have ever bought, I also have a 1970 vw beetle back home in Seattle. I am learning on the go about how to maintain and fix stuff myself on this car. Never really done much fixing/maintenance on cars before, so I am excited to learn more about it. The car is pretty much stock besides some unknown brand exhaust, garbage radio, and some 5 slot brakes? Not really sure on that one.. I have replaced a rubber fuel line, spark plugs, and have bono'd the hatch. Hawaii rust ain't a joke! I plan on putting some coils on her eventually. As of right now I plan on keeping it the way it is, just keeping up with maintenance and such. Photos are from the first day I bought her, about two weeks ago. Thanks for looking! Hello.. I’m Kalani V, out of Atlanta Ga. I’ve been studying the extensive info the members of Zilvia are willing to share. It’s cool to be able to start off with the plethora of knowledge that the past members have given, to enable new comers the chance to save valuable time. Thank you to everyone who helped me in times of struggle with my s13. I hope to give back and help if possible. Lurking since 2014

Hey!
I’m Wayra and I’m new to zilvia, although I’m fairly familiar with the site I’m new in the sense that I look to learn a ton here. Step 1, buy a 240. I’m looking to begin my very first 240 project. So thanks in advance to anyone who could help me (pm) me if you find an 89-93 s13 hatchback (preferably with sunroof) I’d greatly appreciate it, also if you have any news and suggestions on parts and installation that’d be pretty sick. Good looking out, glad to be apart of the family |

One lost boi
New here, currently driving a S14 with a SR swap.
I finally got my car to build boost and got it out of limp mode but now I still cant get the idle right. I am running a stock ECU, with a bigger turbo, aftermarket intake manifold, 3" turbo piping and 550cc injectors. I am wondering if I should say screw it and order a Apex'i Power FC and hope that fixes it, or if I should do what my friend is recommending and buy a socketed ECU and find a online tuner that can supply a tune. SOS pls help

Ello Peeps
Hey nissan/datsun enthusiasts, my name is Ernie, reppin Bay Area Cali and im back on the Zilvia forums and re-introducing myself since 10 years ago!! I had a account before but deleted my old email and whatever that was involved in that email like my first Zilvia account. Anywho, i just bought my 2nd bone stock 240 coupe and have major plans for it. My first 240 coupe was a dream for me to have, but being the immature young man i was 10 years ago, i had to let the car go in a short period of time of having it Time has moved on and so have i, and im ready to make a comeback by having one the meanest, cleanest daily driven 240's on the streets of San Fran. I will definitely need all the help i can get from local 240 heads as my plan for swapping out my KA for something a bit bigger and it will be an obstacle i have never faced before. Thanks for taking the time to read this and remember nissan/datsun heads... Stay Slidin

Been lurking Zilvia for years now and I figured I should be somewhat useful if I can.
The homies call me Antwon and I’m looking to pick up a 240 in the next few months but being in college plus having 2 project cars is a pain in the ass but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If anyone’s local to Torrance or South Bay I’d be down to shoot shit and work on cars |

Hey Everyone,
Been on this forum over years ago when I still had my s13. Got married, had kids and sold the s13. After 6+ years and the kids getting older, I believe it was time for me to get myself a 240sx. I recently purchased my first s14 and looking forward for modifications. Glad to be back. Picture of my car below. |

Back into an s chassis, FINALLY
Hey guys, just picked up a 93 coupe yesterday. First time back in an s chassis since I sold my s14 7 years ago. Located in Nashville, TN. Built a 1jz 350z to be a style oriented car for drifting (as it should be IMO). Anyways, sold it the beginning of this year and bought a truck to haul my family around. Sold the truck and have been sharing a car with my wife for the past 4 months lmao. Getting back into the swing of things as been a little tough trying to remember everything I used to know about driving and how to tune my suspension lol.
