s14 that was raffled
is it just me or does this seem weird to you guys?
this S14 fully built raffle for charity!! : General Chat it was raffled and won by addie barnett here Knights of Columbus Nissan Charity RAFFLE!! and is now being sold here by what seems to be the same person and has same phone number. unless they're just selling it for her. I'm not saying that its the same person, just kinda fishy. Nissan : 240SX | eBay |

on a "taste/ style" note. . . who puts a CA18 in an S14? Add to that what look like R33 headlights and Silvia badges, a non factory colored interior. . . that car stresses me out.

Here's the quote from the ebay page...
Quote:
So the person who won the raffle got all the money from the tickets? What money got donated then??? edit2: Or whatever the car sells for is the amount the raffle winner receives, I'm assuming?

I like how the OP can do all this research, but failed to see this thread on Nico.

Ahaha your on a roll man! To the OP most likely the lady didnt want the car so what was raised was the money she got and what they will get for the car will be donated to the charity.

Ok, let me rephrase: You should have done more research before creating a useless thread. You went through the trouble of finding 3 links, but missed the one I posted when searching for the original on Nico? Way to start a thread and try to make someone look like a scammer

I believe it was built by a marine. So the whole taste/style thing, or lack there of, shouldn't surprise anyone.
The only thing done right on it are the parts put on the engine. Anyways, not a scam, but I believe that charity got jipped for alot of money if the winner took the total raffling prize, and they are getting the car money.

i think the winner should have taken only the amount of money the car was worth(as in how much he would get in the market), which could have been discussed by the builder and a couple other 240 people. Then the charity keeps the rest, plus whatever money they get from selling the car.
