CA 1991 Nissan 300ZX - N/A 5-Speed Slicktop - $3200 OBO

Posting this up here before going on Craigslist.

The car is getting a bit of TLC under the hood right now, as I couldn't bear to let it go as it was. Has been sitting for about a year and a half. Had a fuel leak from a cheap fuel hose, but is being replaced with Gates Barricade fuel hose. Google it!

If that tells you anything about the car then you will want to continue reading

Aesthetically the car could be better, and the interior will need some work. But the car is mechanically sound.

Parts list:

- ~200k miles
- Low mileage engine swapped at ~195k
- donor engine had ~80k and lived an easy life bolted to an automatic transmission
- All Z1 Motorsports silicone tubes save for the two intake pipes and a few vacuum lines.
- brand new engine harness
- new knock sensor harness
- ACT clutch kit
- Aluminum flywheel (fidanza iirc)
- Cometic Gasket Top End Kit
- Cometic Gasket Bottom End Kit
- ‎Gates timing belt Kit [TCK251P]
- Underdrive Crank Pulley
- ‎Headers (Stillen IIRC)
- ‎Magnaflow high flow Cats
- OEM Twin Turbo catback exhaust
- ‎Shirt throw shifter (Stillen IIRC)
- ‎Clutch Damper delete
- ‎New clutch pedal bushing
- ‎JWT Pop filter
- ‎Walbro fuel pump
- New injector o-rings
- Upgraded to 1993+ Injectors
- ‎Eibach lowering springs
- Heavy Duty radiator
- ‎New radiator hoses
- Mishimoto Electric Fan
- ‎Silicone heater hoses
- ‎silicone power steering reservoir hoses
- ‎steering rack replaced around 160k
- ‎S13 steering wheel with cruise control
- ‎fresh shift bushing
- ‎New heater core
- ‎New hood prop latches and bushing
- ‎New hood rubber bushing
- ‎Katana Wheels, CN28 reps , 17x9 (+38 iirc)
- ‎235/45/17 Achilles ATR Sport Tires over 90% tread left
- ‎Muteki SR48 Lug Nuts (Titanium color)
- ‎Upgraded stereo headunit
- ‎replaced alternator around 150k
- ‎digital climate control
- ‎aztec red paint code
- ‎grey/blue interior

I'm sure there's a few more things I'm forgetting, but the car will come completely with receipts of all parts and most services it has received. As you can see in some of the pics, the car was taken apart for a deep cleaning in May, 2016.

The bad
- Rust hole on hatch
- ‎needs paint
- ‎fog lights missing ( turns out they are extremely fragile)
- ‎cracked 3rd brake light housing (was brand new but held it the wrong way when cleaning)
- ‎driver seat has slight tear
- ‎HVAC needs work (no AC, heater worked but doesn't switch modes)
- ‎needs plastic trim
- ‎passenger side muffler is pushed in (back up into a curb)
- ‎shocks might need replacing
- ‎back fees may be due

I am in the process of putting the car back together after having replaced some hard to reach fuel hoses. Will proceed to take car of things such as back fees, smog, etc, as I finish things. But I am willing to sell it before it's all completed, for a fair price.

UPDATE: Fuel leak has been fixed. Replaced busted fuel hoses with Gates Barricade hose. Car turns on, no issues, good on fluids, no check-engine lights. Drives well and going to smog it this week unless somebody buys it off of me before then.

I make adapters for the sr20det to drop into this chassis. The z weighs in at 2800lbs and has a nearly perfect corner balance with this swap. Slicktop is the perfect chassis for it.
