So I just noticed that a majority of previously-dead thread photos are now showing up again. And this is in regular old IE with no plugins or workarounds.

Did something change or get fixed?

Well my old build thread has pictures again and they are hosted on Photobucket sooooo it looks like something happened. I am seeing some that are still popping up saying you need the special service to embed them though.

I never could do the Chrome extension workaround since I have to use IE at work lol. Got used to never seeing pictures and now I see them [emoji5]

we've been seeing that, and also, a lot of photos that are hosted on photobucket only show up as SUPER low res images, super pixelated. Like the image only loaded half way.

A somewhat temporary fix that you need to manually do.

Taken from another forum

: replace the leading "i" in the URL with "w", and you get a viewable image without watermark or blurring.

How Photobucket stays in business is beyond me...
