s14 My 240sx s14 gas tank leaks!! Need Help

Hi guys, this is my first post, so don't really know how this works but I'be been having issues with my fuel tank leaking. Dropped it last night and it is leaking from the top of the tank. I've included a picture to show where exactly it leaks from. I have no idea what that part is called so I can get a replacement or just buy an o-ring or sealant for it cause that's where the leak is coming from.

Really? If that part is replaceable then you should be able to find the part. Try searching in the FSM under Fuel Management to locate the part number and then call your local Nissan parts department with the number.

If the item cannot be replaced, and it's just a seal like the fuel pump opening, you can try the gas tank repair from your local auto parts store to see if that will work.

nope

see how there is no part number for those? it's considered to be one piece / part of the gas tank. believe me you're not the first one to ask me on this subject. it has become more and more common now that S14's are aging.

Those elbows are plastic welded to the tank, the entire unit requires replacement as previously stated...

yep shity ass Nissan gas tank. if you have an s14 it is only a matter of time before the plastic shit cracks. expect to spend 4-600$ 0n a new one. what do you guys think of using bed liner on the new tank to prevent the tank from cracking?

I wanted to try line-x. But not sure what it would cost. Just went with a new tank for $487 shipped. Not worth it buying used either. It will just crack again.

Line x sounds like a good sealant too but would it help the cracks from occurring? Someone wants to help out with what to coat a new tank with?

I really think it would help from crack occurring. But won't do anything if tank is already cracked.
