Ka24de intake backfire..

So here's the thing, I'm running a completly stock ka24de and ti was running fine besides noises of the loose timing chain. So I redid the upper and lower chains and started it up and timed it with the light it runs smooth now. But when I give it gas it backfires through the intake. And if you put your hand infront of the hole on the air box when giving it gas, it sucks super hard like it's getting lots of air. Any suggestions on how I can six this?

You must have timed it wrong. Intake backfire is caused by the plugs firing before the intake valve is closed, so your ignition or cam timing are probably off.

Double check you got your cams right, if that's it then you are probably a tooth off on the distributor. Have you pulled your TPS harness and verified your timing with a timing gun?
