I just got done fixing my 2010 wrx hatch clutch pedal assembly! Such a pain in the ass, good thing they sorta fixed it in the 2011-2014 models! GLWS boss

I heard some of the earlier models had issues with the spot welds on the clutch pedal?

Yup! I bought mine used at 87,000 and I didn't notice it at first but a week in I could hear it. About 3 months in I ripped the dash out and all 6 spot welds were broken and rust forming.. fixed it with grade 8 bolts and washers and made a world of difference.The squeak is still there unfortunately but thankfully I know its secure to the firewall and won't fall on the floor lol.

It's worth it to anyone with an 08-10 Impreza clutch model.
