Issues with speed sensor swap
I have now installed my Q45 rear diff, it has the 3.69:1 ratio(as does the oem tt rear diff) and I have also installed the blue oem tt speed sensor gear on the end of my speed sensor. Everything seems to be great prior to actually driving...
The blue gear is slightly smaller in diameter. When I drive the car, the speedo is lazy meaning it is slow to catch up to the actual speed i'm going and when it gets there it falls down ~5mph and back up, oscillating. This makes me wonder if the gear isnt making full contact with the wheel/gear that its sensing. Has anyone ever done the swap of the speed sensor gears or know what could be causing my issues?

O sorry, I never updated this. I simply swapped the gear on the speedo but you cant do that. The diameter is slightly smaller on the blue TT gear and it wasnt fully grabbing. I ended up swapping out for an actual TT speed sensor as a whole and it worked just fine.
