oh and by the way... so jealous of this build. wish I had a house already. i'd at least be looking for deals on VQ drivetrains already.

still not understanding why the RHD. I've seen other VQHR swaps that didn't require it. not hating, just don't get why this one needed it.

in an s14 there is more room, not s13.... i explained it in the build... ive asked for people like u too show me links to other vqhr s13 swaps but... it seems everyone says there are a few and yet nobody can provide me with the proof... like i have said before ill eat me words when someone provides me proof, until then my swap was the only logical way around the starter issue

You're right, they're all S14s that I'm able to find. The only other S13 is one where it was modified quite a bit to have everything fit.

Nick comeon.......i had VQ35HR in my S13 LHD all day. I sold you parts from my swap when i parted out the car. I am going to be installing the same VQ35HR in a month or so into an S14 i just picked up working A/C, PS functional gauges any all. Hope the driveshaft and intakes are still workin great for you though.

I made a linking arm for the starter solenoid and moved it about 8" fwd. With the correct adjustment of the arm the starter worked perfect each time. Took a bit of thinking when we ran into the problem but the effort involved was minimal and cost of parts was like $30. I didnt advertise it very much when i had done it, so it wasnt readily available information back in 2010.

but like i stated above at the time of my swap i did not know about what u had done... and i did not learn about it until my rhd conversion was already complete...if i had known before i did the rhd conversion i would of just purchased ur setup when i talked to u... since its all done and over with i can still justify what i did! but i know there are others who cannot.
