There's an optional cold pipe to use the GReddy IM with an S13 FMIC kit.

mechanical timing is set perfect
s13 harmonic balancer on s14 block (only difference between s13/14 crank pulley is ribs for ps pump) timing marks are the same. so no issue there
zero boost leak
plugs gapped @ 30
370 injectors oem fpr
enthalpy tuned ecu and he told me to run 15*btc of course

when timing is set @ 15*btc it bogs and backfires
but when its slightly advanced it revs happy and runs great.
to get it set @ 15*btc the CAS was clocked all the way right
it should be in the middle of the adjustment window im aware of so its right around the middle now and it runs fine .

what should i look into changing ? only thing we could think of is water temp sensor and CAS?
Help me Im refusing to drive my car

Is your CAS set right with the cam? Where are you putting the clamp for the signal for the timing light?

Zenki foglight replacement lenses

I'm looking to repair or replace the lenses my fog lights which are cracked and missed pieces. I understand that an easy fix would be to just find used foglights (since they are no longer produced), but i dont know if it is the cheapest.

I've done quite a bit of searching for replacement lenses but did find a company that produces or sells them. Has anyone else found these?

Thanks.

Best option is probably finding a set with broken housings but good lenses and merge them.

Trying to replace the wiper linkage on my S14. The entire bolt keeps spinning when I try to losen the nut. There is no room to grab it from underneath with pliers. Will I need to cut or drill the bolts/nuts out? Thanks

I've searched online and there are a lot of discussions about the final drives but not a solid answer that I am looking for.

Are all r200 diff final drive the same and can be swapped out? I'm looking into gathering the z33/g35 diff and axles and wondering if I can swap out the final drive for a 4.6 FD from an xterra.

KA24DE Oil Pump Question:

Would it better to just buy a whole new Complete Cover Timing Chain Assembly....

Or just replace the Oil Pump Gear + Oil Pump Valve Relief Assembly, and it'll be good as new?

thanks in advance.

Q45 DIFF (97) into s13

A few questions, I have s13 pumpkin and q45 pumpkin (97)

I want q45 gears. Can I swap gear sets w/o issue (heard something about pinion spacers being required)? (I have s15 lsd going in so I know about bolt differences)

Can I swap input flanges between them?

If I keep q45 flange, will it rub against sway bar?

No experience but from reading this thread you need the correct rotors for the front and the rears are identical to z32 + can use z32 ebrake system:

thank you, good info! i remember reading that elsewhere as well.

i had also found this thread with some good info;

http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=117194

just didn't want to bump it due to it's age and it being unlikely that the posting members would still be active on here, over a decade later. (though i did pm one out of optimism.)

more specifically, does anyone know if the set up is the same with z32 rear brakes, if you still need to run the entire drum assembly? i don't know where i came under the impression that you could simply bolt them up the way the stock brakes are configured on the s14 and still have a working ebrake.

R32 and z32 are the same in the back, so yes, you need the drum ebrake if you want it to work.

Does anyone know where I can get that "cup holder" for 96+ s14 center consoles? It's literally just a flat piece of plastic that inserts into the slits that the 96+ center consoles have on them. I use to see them everywhere, now no amount of google searching will bring them up.

I have a bit of an odd/silly question: Does it matter what type of bolt I use to replace the old rusted/rounded ones? As in, can I just drop by a local Homedepot and get what I need? Or are the screws and bolts on the 240 "special" in anyway (plating/grade/etc.)?

It shouldn't matter too much, right?
