Here's how the rears sit now, plenty of gap hahah (obviously fit like super crap with the spacers, remember, just a test fit to see if I liked the white on white), so imagine 25mm less spacers, and 30 more mm sidewall as the current tires are toasted 235/40's.

currently, I'm on Tein S-techs and GR2's, so mad ass, I should have similar fitment? to you?

You have anything from the rear, looking down the side Marshall?

Unless you want to pull the hell out of your fenders you need a higher offset and wider wheel to be able to use those 8 tires you got.

Yes, I can post more pics if you'd like as I am also on tein s-tech and gr2's.

but remember this also, with the tein s-tech, by the time the suspension compressed enough to get in contact with the fender, you might have enough camber to clear it even if you have 0 camber at static height.

if I get bored enough, I'll do an experiment on my car tomorrow since I know i'm at 0 camber at static height.(good excuse to move my car out of the garage for once, do that drive way wheel tucking experiment. LOL)

To anyone,

I was looking to run the same size tires as Toby on my s13... 245/35 and 285/30. What width and offset should I run on factory fenders. I don't mind rolling and pulling, but I would like to avoid notching my control arms. Any info would be appreciated.

9.5+15~20 in front, 10+38~25 to 10.5+30 ish in rear.

the amount of fender work needed will depend on your ride height.

I'd put a 9 +20ish up front and a 10 +30ish out back. 285's will fit just fine on a 10.

Toby has an 11" wheel out back.

Thanks for the info guys. It's probably gonna be a while before I get wheels for this thing, but I'll keep those specs in mind

Keep in mind, Toby had widebody Chargespeed fenders up front & filled in the vents to make the fenders look oem. Most might have a hard time trying to match his setup with stock fenders...

I'll keep that in mind. I don't plan on going too much lower than stock, so hopefully I can pull it off without too much fender work

I had about 3mm clearance with 17x9+23's up front with Stance coilovers, so just going off of that, yes you'll need spacers to clear the coilovers.

and looking at your ride height in your sig, you'll have hell of a time clearing the fender in front with that tire size. you might be better off using 255/35/18's.

Plan to raise the car 1/2" and take out some camber tired of this damm hellaflush look. I would like to actually drive the shit out of my car LOL

I think i may try a 7mm slip on space in front and maybe a 15mm space out back.

Thanks

I wanna go with 18x9.5+15 235/40/18 all around on my S13.

Will the fenders survive the pull?

I did some measuring and the rim should clear the coilovers like 1-2mm, so this is as far in as I can push these fatties.

235 on a 9.5" rim isn't max tire.

Yep, not max tire at all. Please procede to the stretch thread or wheel fitment thread for your answer.

What are your wheel specs & alignment specs? Any rubbing on the front?

Read the first post in the thread it was writen well.
Full specs on wheels and tires help everyone.
Wheel Diameter, Width and Offset.
Tire Width and Sidewall ratio. Brand and model help too because different tire manufatures use differen't points to were tread begins and ends.

I don't remember the specs I had my friend do it for me at his job one day when I had the stock 16" skyline gts wheels on the car. Fronts don't rub at all but my car isn't slammed at all. Fronts are 17x9 +25 with a 3mm spacer to clear the z calipers. Rear are 17×10+20 and rubs fender on hard dips on the fwy.
