HI i bought a brand new t28 and its making a popping noise from my turbo like air is coming out i got a new exhaust manifold and new gaskets for all of the turbo sides and i changed gaskets for downpipe and catback to straightpipe i dont know what else could be a problem maybe I need a tune??? I just put the new turbo with 550cc injectors and a new fuel pressure regulator what else could be the problem?

1) you expected an answer within 16 minutes?
2) you really upgraded your injectors and went to a larger turbo and an adjustable fpr without getting a tune?

go to ebay, search for common sense and have a bidding war until you win it.

No he just boarded it in it's a nistune chip and I need to just I've it dyne tuned for the chip to be hooked up and everything

Have you done anything? Or are you letting the internet take care of it?

Why are you even talkin about? I'm asking for advice ive done everything I possibly could myself
-changed exhaust manifold with new gasket
-brand new turbo
- changed gaskets for piping for exhaust
What else can I do it's making a loud noise and backfiring a lot?

Check shaft play.....backfiring. is normal if your not recirculated

Sounds like u oil starved the tubo and u done broke yo turbo lol

Wide band on a car with a tuned ecu or a safc of some sort is one of the best ways to find out ifyour cars running rite

Safc is nice cuz u ca change al ur settings as ur drivng and whatnot

turbo sounds likes its trash, and cant really tell due to wife vacuuming, but i think i hear an exhaust leak

ok but if you dont tighten all bolts down all the way its going to leak it doesnt hurt to recheck all the bolt

It was the oxygen sensor in my downpipe it fell out

not trying to be rude, but you said you checked everything you possibly could, but missed an o2 hanging from your engine not in the hole making a ton of noise leaking exhaust? im glad you found it, just reading over the thread made me -facepalm-
