Sr20det s13 won't crank!! Need help with wiring

I need someone's help with my wiring on my sr20 red top s13. The 2 plugs behind the passenger headlight are what I'm mainly asking about. I didn't have a ka engine harness so I decided to just solder the wires together to where they go. I followed the chart and directions on frsport. I thought I had it all wired and done but when I turn the key I hear a relay or two and the fuel pump sends fuel but the starter won't turn at all or click or anything. I have a 825cc battery in it, getting 12v to starter wire when ON and start signal wire is on. Also I tried to jump the starter with a screwdriver and nothing happened.

so you cut off the connectors on the body harness as well as the connectors on the sr engine harness? And just wired them directly together?

Are you sure you wired the dash* connector correctly?

Yes I cut off both connectors, and wired the wires directly. I wired the dash wires also. And the starter that came with my motor was on the engine but I couldn't get it to start so I jumped it with a screwdriver and it spun and didn't crank the engine at all so I figured it was bad and then I bought a used starter off someone and they claimed it was good so I put it on and it still won't start. Even when I jump it with a screwdriver the starter won't turn and the engine won't crank. I've turned the engine by and and it feels good.. The wires behind the headlight, for the brown and gray plugs, there's a thick blue/red wire and black/red wire that I soldered both to the black/red wire is this correct?

I havnt checked the relay because I don't know how to. Also does my neutral safety switch have to be wired behind headlight? Cuz when I had my rb25 in this car last summer I didn't have to press the clutch in to start it. So when I wired the plugs I don't think I wired it I'll have to check. I wish this thing would just start already

Its gonna be hard to tell you over the internet. Nobody knows if you wired everything correctly.
I was under the impression that if your starter doesn't make that clicking noise, that the starter itself is bad. Im not sure though.

I touched the starter positive to the start signal spade on the starter and it cranked but didn't start

You need the Engine harness gone through properly. The car harness is more than likely fine.

are you getting power to the fuse box right next to the battery? Do your dash lights or anything work?
