What's even worse (not to shit on your post) but, I talked to a restoration company (clearcorners) and my old ones were similar in condition, (before I trashed them because they got destroyed.)
But, they wanted 3,000 for a full restoration with paint and LEDs. And about 1600 for regular stock restoration. Talk about stupid price gauging. http://clearcorners.com/products/nissan/s15/ - if anyone is interested This is what they sent me: I’m afraid that those headlights are too far gone, they’re essentially trash. Since these are know to be so old. The better solution at this point would be to procure (and build) either new or used headlight assemblies. Note that prices do not include the cost of the headlight cores. Entry level are the halogen headlights, high-end being the factory xenon headlights which are extremely expensive. Rough ball-park quote for a pair of new halogen headlights will be in the 3000 price range with the LHD beam pattern conversion and LED upgrades. Estimated build time is about 2-3 months. As a reference, I’ve attached photos of the last pair of xenon headlights we built for another customer. Regards, Mike |
