Ok ok ok, I know this is a s/z chassis forum but I hope someone in here can help.
My questions is regarding a q45 y33, vh motor.
Any help is appreciated.
So I accidentally ripped this wire while pulling the intake mani off. I have no idea what it goes to but I can see what ever it is looks like a pain to replace. (Driverside area) I'm not quite sure what it is. I'm still searching through the webs.

I tried regeristering on VipStyleCars so I could ask that forum for help but their regeristration thing is nuts. Like all the entries overlap and can barely read anything. Anyways long shot but I appreciate help.

Best place to purchase s14 RB rear over fenders? Everywhere seems to be ~550$ shipped. Damn shipping kills the whole deal.

Best bet would be to call some of the sellers and have them manually run you an estimate. Find out if there is a near by freight terminal (Conway, Yellow, Roadway, Holland, ect) and if you can pick it up there. That alone is often worth $50.

I'm sure it's a big item the goes on a big pallet that can't be stacked.

The plastic plugs?

You can try Autozone, they normally have three spinning racks of fasteners, clips and plugs. They may have what you need. You can also just try and used rubber plugs too.

Any thoughts here?
Why are you testing? Symptoms?

18hg with S4's is awesome IMO at idle. With that said, what RPM is your idle at?

Spring rate is only a 1/4 of the pie. The damper you run makes *all* the difference.

Just wack. It's oversized, so it becomes dimensional weight.

This might be a dumb question but I have a head missing the camshaft brackets, would it be alright to use any ka24de brackets (altima etc..) or does it have to be from a 240sx KA?

Has anybody actually installed Z32 coilpacks into an SR20DET? It shows up in compatible parts lists in some old FAQ threads, but actual pics/posts of them installed are pretty elusive.

Mainly I want to know if the boots will actually fit and contact both the spark plug and seal the hole. The end goal is to swap the boot replacement kit onto aftermarket coilpacks that currently have skinny S15 boots on them.

anyone know a good source for perforated napa leather? I need a 4ftx1ft strip. A0 lot of supplier sites Ive visited don't seem to offer perforation and the sizes they provide make me kind of nervous. I don't wanna order 4 sq ft from them and end up with 4 1sq ft chunks lol.

Does anyone know if Nissan issued an OE rear upper strut tower bar for the 180sx like they with the front upper strut tower bar? I just scored an OE front strut tower bar for like $20 off YAJ and im trying to find a matching rear one (if it was made)!

grommets.... ton of different types (material, style, type, size, etc..)

Yes but it's tricky for most people... bolts on the gear can be a PITA and need to be torqued corrently - cleaned, thread locker, torque wrench - and you need to be able to check and adjust gear backlash.

It's easiest to just swap your axles to the right type. Same with the pumpkin cover. If finding axles is a problem, you can swap the half shafts from the pumpkin with yours to use the axles on your car.

A couple of reasons when swapping the guts is worth the hassles are if you're going with a new type of differential - 2 way, hsld, etc. or if you're changing the final drive gear ratio. It's best to pay a shop to do this right.

Someone as a diagram (or picture of the back of it's cover) of the kickpanel fuseblock for the s13 240sx?

I find it very odd that I couldn't find it in the FSM.

Im testing because of high idle condition. Bought a new fuel rail which solved the issues. The Circuit sport one I had was ever so slightly bent, injector 2 and 4 were 2mm high off a flat plane :O

Tuning on AEM EMS v2. Haven't spent a ton of dialing it in, ~10 minutes.

So I understand the idle tuning procedure (a general practice for all AEM EMS)... but when you throw in an idle screw like the SR20 has, gets weird. Any suggestions where to "set" the idle air screw?

get the S14 FSM, there are voltage levels for the IACV and the TPS/Throttle set screw that have to properly set. i know the TPS is like .4v closed (normal range is .35-.5)... i dont remember what the IACV is though

Just to be clear, you know Im talking about the plastic Phillips head screw on the IACV? Not the throttle stop screw on the throttle body.
