Oval mufflers are better for quieting drone down, but a mid mounted resonator helps a lot. Remember, you have pretty much straight pipe from header back to the end where the muffler is so all you have under the car is straight pipe. Adding the resonator, or a middle muffler will quiet things down a lot. I thought it a great idea to make a lightweight road racing exhaust for an older car once. Bullet muffler in back, should have just went straight pipe. Added the moroso to where the resonator would go, big difference inside, small difference outside(race muffler is a race muffler afterall) but it was quitter.

Can anybody here verify how many grounds to the starter there are on a KA24de?
Also, is there a certain position the starter needs to be in for the car to turn over or can you just put it in there, ive been trying to start my car after rebuild and my starter is just making a weird clanking sound. lol i love this dumb question thread Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

as long as it has power and ground and the belt is tight you should be good. If the starter is clanking it should also be turning the engine over, if its not turning starter is likely bad

r32 will not fit and s13/s14/s15/ have similar size and I would expect the s14/s15 floor mats to be a little bigger than the s13.

Problem 1: What would cause my rev limiter to stop working when hot? The last couple of drift events I've been to so far my car's limiter will work for like 1 lap and then just stop. After letting my car cool down in the pits the same thing happens the next time I go out, 1 or 2 laps and then the limiter is just gone. I don't have an aftermarket limiter or anything. And just to be clear when I say 'hot' I don't mean I'm running the car into the danger zone. Problem 2: This may or may not be related to problem 1, but it would be nice if it is. Last event I did a lap when my car was running fine, there was no signs of it running poorly (just the usual limiter not working) Anyways I finish my lap and stop in the lineup and when it's time to move my car just would not respond to throttle, my idle was rough and fluctuating. Shut the car off checked my throttle cable, tps was plugged in, maf was good. Start it up again still the same. So after about 10 minutes of looking at various parts of my engine bay with my xray diagnostic vision I give up. Start the car up and now it responds to throttle. I was able to drive my car home but ever since that happened my idle has been really low and my car has been running a bit rich. Any suggestions would help. I haven't really dove into diagnosing it myself yet, but a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated before I start breaking shit in the garage. |

Don't know about Battle's, but Square 17x9 +15 are good to go with CTSV calipers. My freind Rob has them on his coupe

any major differences between redtop/blacktop/notchtop transmissions? my notchtop spun a bearing and I wanted to buy a forged blacktop but will it fit in my old tranny?
I'm guessing yes but just want to be sure E: also out of curiosity, how much power can the tranny hold? the new engine would have all the stuff necessary for more than 480hp, and has a stage 2 clutch, but how much can the tranny take? |

Can someone tell me why my car dies when I put it in gear. It will idle and rev just fine but as soon as I go into any gear, it shuts off. No, there is nothing wrong with the clutch engagement, it is electrical. I don't even get to release the clutch before it shots off. I'm thinking I just need to order a wiring specialties harness

S15 trans will bolt up also, but you'd have to change flywheel, driveshaft, and crossmember. |

if its a 6 pot, you will have to run 18s. I have IS-F calipers, which are basically the same thing as 6 pot CTSV bremos with minor exterior changes and they barely fit under my 18" rays that have the most aggressive face design.

Gotta think about that if/when I blow the current one, can't really afford to buy a new one since the engine itself is expensive af plus new turbo, intake, exhaust, chip, injectors etc to get the 400+ hp. Hopefully the tranny will hold for at least one year
