does anybody else really struggle to find cool parts for the ps13 on yaj ? always seems to be generic stuff, when i search for stuff for my kenmeri, i get tons of cool products as results

the hardest part ive found is getting the correct Japanese terms to link up with what you are looking for.

just do a generic search, like 's13 nismo'. if you see something you like, translate the title of the auction and save the terms in the word doc and use whenever you need. add additional titles in your word doc as you find more. not hard, just gotta use your noggin and put the time in to look; after all you are trying to search on a site that is completely foreign to 99% of us on here.

most of us are working off google translate. yes, its not rocket science, but you do have to put some time in as some stuff doesn't translate cleanly (as i mention in post 3223).

You're right, its not. However, 90% of the time that Im on YAJ, listings are only coming up to half of what I searched for. People in Japan list things weirdly. Also, have you ever tried switching from what they write and converting it to English? Doesn't even make sense half the time.

Yeah, but (and this isn't a dig at you specifically) if you spend any amount of time over 5min on Google Translate you can figure this out.

I used to work with behavioral criminal youth, trust me there is nothing you can say to me that I would consider a "dig" lol but again. Things aren't always super accurate in google translate. more often than not, google translate also gets a lot of things wrong. Take a foreign language class at any college and that will soon be evident. Ive seen so many kids who clearly couldnt speak or understood a foreign language use it for their class work and still be wrong because the translation services fucks up sometimes.

Finding stuff is a mix of that and initiative

For those generic searches, like wheels, seats, steering wheel, etc. Like if you search "10j 114.3," click the "中古" on the left to filter to just used items since that's generally what we care about (and there's ocean of new junk on there).
