#4 cyl Wire keeps coming out.

My # 4 cyl wire keeps coming out. I new plugs and wires a few months ago and it didn't start doing it until a few weeks ago. I put a shit load of the boot protector and sealent on the out side and inside of boot and it held for like 3o miles then it can out again and I have been having to tie it down with wire to keep it from coming out. What could it be?

When you replace your plugs they come with a washer that needs to be re-torqued after a few months. The plus may be a hair on the loose side and everytime the combustion goes off the chamber the air escapes very little and blows the plug wire off. Also the plug wires crimping may be loose as well.

#3 and #4 kept coming out with my magnecors, grabbed an old sock and some pliers and "adjusted" the wires, haven't had a problem since.

My #2 plug wire keeps popping out a little bit. It doesn't loose contact but it still sucks. I just keep pushing the thing back in.

I'll drive for a while and then all of a sudden my car will feel like shit and I instantly know what it is. I had to pull over and got lucky and found some twine and tied it down.
