attn s13 techies! engine room harness questions

i searched...i dont think very many people are as dumb as i am for trying this.
im putting an engine room harness from a 1991 w/manual tranny into my hatchback that was originally auto. i have it in but there are some things that are different.

1. there is a mini ecu above the engine ecu by the blower motor. i dont even know what the thing is for...but the clips are way different.

2. the wiring to the ignition switch area is different, a few of the clips that go to the switch on that column

3. there is a little green box on my car mounted right next to the clutch master. what the hell is that? and guess what...the clip is different

4. i am also going to assume i need to bypass a clutch pedal switch somewhere since i had to bypass the auto interlock on the old harness.

5. a bunch of extra clips by the wiper motor, assuming for a cruise control option, which i dont have...

and any other input you guys have... your help is greatly appreciated i have been having a hell of a time with this.

1) Above the ECU you'll have the ATC and the ASCD units if equipped. Since ASCD was an option your car may not have it, nor the donor harness. Your car will have an ATC though but it's not needed since you swapped it.

2) IIRC, the headlight switch may have a different plug. Otherwise I'm not sure.

3) Windshield wiper amplifier. Plug should be the same but if not swap in the correct model.

4) You can plug the clutch switch in or bypass it, your choice.

5) Correct. ASCD actuator plug is by the wiper motor.

thanks, thats a start...i think i will just have to go to the junk yard and look at all the possibilities. so if i do not have an automatic or cruise control, is it safe to say i do not need the box that plugs into the passenger end of the engine room harness?

somehow i do not think it will be that simple, but its worth a shot.

also, i am getting no signal to my starter, any suggestions?

p.s. i hate wires
