Testing Waters: 240sx (for race) BAY AREA, CA
I'm seeing if anyone is interested in my 240sx. I was busted by the CHP a while back for having a modified smog device. I WILL NOT be able to smog the car for you. The car will be sold in "as-is" condition. To make the car legal for street use, you'd have to swap in a KA24 motor and have a ref pass it. It would be perfect for the weekend racer, or part it out and make some great cashflow.
Dent in rear quarter panel, paint flaking on hood, everything else is pretty straight. 1990 Nissan 240sx Silver Hatchback Modifications:
SR20DET Redtop Engine Swap Cone Filter Blitz LM Front Mount Intercooler Walbro 255 lph Fuel pump Catco 3" Catalytic Converted (have test pipe also" ProjectSilvia 3" Downpipe GP Sports Exas D 3" Exhaust ARC (abbey road company) BOV (w/ fabbed recirc hose) HKS Wastegate Actuator ACT Street/Strip Clutch Blitz oil cap Front and Rear Strut Tower Bars KYB AGX adjustable shocks on Eibach Prokit springs Suspension Techniques front & rear sway bars Polyurethane TC rod bushings GD Rear subframe spacers Falken Azenis tires on stock rims HKS Turbo Timer S14 240sx Seats Sabelt 3pt Harness AM oil pressure gauge AM a/f gauge AM boost/vacuum gauge Kenwood Stereo deck S13 Silvia Gauge Cluster
Located in Santa Rosa, CA. They took a bunch of pictures, said they could toss me in jail, etc etc, basically a nightmare. I wanted to keep it as a race car, but I'm going back to school and could use the money.

Very low chance of me parting it out.
E-mail offers. Like originally posted, I'm just "testing the waters." This isn't something that needs to be done right away. I have a spare car to drive around. |

Thanks for the compliments Ghettokracker, but it's not that great.
If I do end up getting mega-busted from this event...maybe I'll resort to a new hobby like snorting coke and robbing people (Just kidding) not much else to do around here besides car stuff though. |

I doesn't meet Federal DOT laws. It also doesn't meet State smog laws in most states that have any sort of inspection.
Get a hood lock on your car, they can't open to search any locked compartments. using exhaust and gauges as "probable cause" to open your hood also is arguable. Good Luck with the sale! |

If the offer is good enough, I'll part with it. I might be able to keep the car after-all, so it's not high priority. Xplosive, You living in Hawaii could complicate matters if you seriously wanted it.
