s15 S15 Gauge Cluster Diagram Explained

Okay so i feel like ive done every search i can think of on this site, Ive searched the entire FSM for a simple Gauge cluster diagram.

Im sure this is going to be a super simple question for anyone with an S15. On my dash there is a light near the ABS bulb which has ((!)) kind of a symbol. This light is always on! i thought it was the check engine light for a while until i checked through the FSM and was corrected.

Could someone please explain what this is. if its supposed to be on ALL THE TIME while the car is running. Ive seen this light on.... on most S15's from dash conversion posts on here. I just want to make sure.......

Muchly Appreciated !!!

Most of the time ((!)) indicates a tire pressure sensor warning. Not sure if s15s were produced with it tho. Would be something to look into if you have the fsm.

its the ebrake, I wired up the cluster in a s14 and in the diagram it was the ebrake, obviously because when the ebrake was released , the light turned off

As someone that has an S15 cluster, I'll confirm. It's ebrake.

your ebrake might not be going down all the way , maybe that's why your pads wasted??? or cable too tight??

TPMS lmao.....

Either the eBrake Circuit isn't opening like it's suppose to or your low on brake fluid.

I kind've chuckled when the guy agreed that it was definitely OP's TPMS on his 240 lol. I just suggested that s15's could have had it and it was going off since USDM ones never came with it. Although the OP did check his tire pressure and reassured that they are good. lol

Well my logic behind it was that maybe S15s had it and since his doesn't maybe that's why it's going off in the dash... Not COMPLETELY crazy to think
