Iacv or wiring issues

so if im correct the iacv is supposed to adjust the idle when you use electronics (correct me if im wrong) so i believe my iacv may be bad.

what is happening is ever since i wired in my gauges the car seems like it wants to stall at stop lights. after i stop for a second or two itll start dropping down to about 300 rpm a few times and save itself but in the video you can see the issue stops happening when i turn off my gauges and fans.

currently the only things im running off the battery are my 2 gauges (glowshift and turbosmart) my 2 fans (i use 1 fan most of the time) and my fuel pump. is it possible i am running too much for my alternator/ battery? if so how can i test it.

my battery is an oddysey pct925. like i said before when i turn off the gauges it seems to actually stop having this issue so bottom of the line, is it the wiring/electrical setup or my iacv. (yes ive taken the iacv out and cleaned it with carb cleaner)

video of it happening: https://youtu.be/gqQm2lYWamE

IACV is not only for idle bump. It is for smooth idle, adjusts the amount of air allowed to bypass the closed throttle plate when at idle.

Where are you getting power for the gauges from?

The almost stalling sounds like open atmosphere blow off valve - google that.

research iacv adjustment procedure, do it from home and get it idling smoothly. You will have to bring the car up to operating temperature before it will function properly

ive adjusted it before and had it idling really good but something happened that made it do this. it also breaks up high load no boost so im thinking my plug gap (.027) is too small for the old coil packs to keep up with

Sounds like you have a boost leak. Same thing would happen to me when coming to a stop, my car would stall. If you installed a boost gauge check your vacuum hose, or do a boost leak test. Your alternator should be fine with what you running.

see i was also thinking that but it was running perfect even after i took off the intake manifold to get to the coolant hoses, i remember vividly me and my buddy went and drove around town did a couple bernies and the car ran fine. i parked it for a week or two and decided to throw new spark plugs in because the old ones were covered in oil from spark plug seals. ever since then it has just been running like shit even if i dont let it sit for a few days itll still run like garbage. for sure im still going to do a boost test but i think it might just be the plugs
