‘99 lexus gs300 ***caged, widebody, nonvvti 2jzgte, drift ready, one of a kind build!

Let me start of by saying this, I am in absolutely no rush at all to sell the car. This car is my pride and joy and I've dumped endless hours into this thing over the past couple years to get it to where it is now. There's also a number of parts on the car that cannot be replaced, even if money wasn't an object.

-serious inquiries only
-no joyrides
-no lowballs
-will consider reasonable offers
-or trades of equal/more value

**asking price is $29,000**

I have over $60k in receipts

Onto what's important. I purchased the shell in may 2016, most all of the mechanical work that's been done on the car was done by me, anyone that knows me/the car knows how much of a quality build this thing is. It really is a one of a kind. Absolutely no corners cut, I mean hell the a/c blows colder in this thing than my daily.

Nice car, I couldn't find the "irreplaceable" parts in the build sheet though.

Don't really understand why owners throw a price tag to every single part that's on the car as if they're going to get every single dollar back...

I’m literally asking half the amount it cost to build this car, don’t see how I’m asking to get every single dollar back lol

People are lucky to get 10-15% back out of what they put in their cars, depending on the car. Some can get way more. But I've always found that a good rule of thumb. Doesn't mean you can't try to get more for it. All it takes is that one right buyer.

Just spent the past couple weeks working out a deal with Dillon to purchase this car. Loaded up my trailer and drove 12 hours to Utah to pick it up.

What a PIECE OF SHIT. I've never seen such high quality parts completely shit rigged into a vehicle.

First of all the car didn't run despite weeks of working this deal out, time he could have used to prep the vehicle. Upon inspection the engine sits in the bay crooked. The engine mounts are accompanied by a stack of spacers to make it secure. 90 degree plumbing bends are used instead of factory lines. The alternator was shot. I purchased a battery to get it started. took it for a spin and butt dyno reads barely 200HP. It barely even hits any kind of boost. I checked the turbo which had shaft play up and down, in and out. Stock front brakes with willwood rear. The hydro ebrake was a pass-through, not even a dual caliper set up. Fabrication work on cage was equivalent to childhood booger wiping. Dashboard is flopping around. Wiring throughout is a complete nightmare hack job. Leaking coolant, front cams are leaking, steering leaking, oil pan leaking...basically this car is bleeding out in front of me at idle. Missing all the grommets into the firewall. Both computers are not mounted and just flopping around. Only one fuel pump working. Paint is orange peel. Pedal assembly is hack job. Body panels don't line up. The crowler transmission parts aren't installed and neither are the ARP head studs. No steal braided brake lines. aluminum center counsel is shit with drive shaft exposed. Hood release in cab just dangling. Cut wires everywhere. etc..............................

Meanwhile the 22 year old owner is completely oblivious believing that this is a professionally built 400hp plus drift/show car. Total turd despite once being a Super Street cover car. Since then it was purchased with no Motor/tranny/wheels/or interior, and completely shit rigged it together.

I should have taken more photos and notes. It was just such a heap of shit

He could have just been honest about the build. Or at 22, in the middle of Utah, maybe he just doesn't know any better. Huge waste of time and disappointment.

What did it take you a whole 3 days to come up with that? Lmao, First of all you literally haven’t even seen the car, you’re just going off what your buddy told you that literally thought it was a vvti. And as for the car not running the alternator took a shit on my way to meet your friend, i called multiple places in town trying to find a replacement ASAP w/ no luck. Turbo has play in/out, not up and down like he claimed it to be, It was like that out of the box.

The car runs great, pulls hard. yeah it’s on a conservative tune but i told you that from the get go..? Along with the mc parts/studs i told you about that also before you guys decided to take the drive. As i have been with any serious inquiry i get about the car.

Yes the oil pan has a little seepage and i was honestly unaware of that or else i would have mentioned that to you too. Fab work looks great on cage? How is the pedal assembly a hack job? Paint looks great? Both computers are mounted? And the dash is solid too? Both fuel pumps work? Cam seals aren’t leaking? Neither is power steering? And what coolant leak you mean the overflow..? Lol

I was honest with you about the car man, I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you and your buddy, thanks for the bump tho!

Soooo...should I back away from this car now. I’ve already had one experience like this purchasing a car off Zilvia this year from a young guy. I was looking forward to a text today from OP but nothing yet.

Dissapointing
