ca20e transmission question

so I got a ca18det engine for cheap, and I was wondering if anyone knows if a ca20e( 87 200sx) transmission would bolt up to the ca18det?

ca20e transmission question

Direct bolt on my friend. Im pretty sure the gearing ratios are different, dont quote me on that, so might wanna make sure its what you want for the build. Afaik all the "C" transmission share the same bellhousing, so you have a few options.

Also definitely take into account the diff setup and mounts, might have to get a custom driveshaft done or something if you are running an oem s13 differential with that trans. The fitment also might be wonky or not work at all with the s13 subframe and s13 trans mounts/support. Assuming you own an s13 or something and not an s12 lol.

Thank you. Yeah the diff angle might be my smallest problem. It’s going in a mgb gt that I got. So I had all ready started to plan for a custom steel drive shaft. I will have to figure out gearing as I’m limited to the gear ration of the stock diff. Again thank you for the help.
