Okay I've had this car for a while, my 5th 240. so I Started off like this:

Bought it, It had a dual cam swap, with brian crower cams, but the motor was on its way out. I drove it anyway. I sold my hardbody for 1200, plus a half of a kit.

My seat, wheel, and quick release and rails i had laying around from my abandoned s14 build that i cut in half took up space in my room, so installed those.

BC coilovers came in, I installed those, fronts where on the wrong side for the longest time giving me almost no negative camber at all. Lol

Picked up some 17s before i put the kit on so it didnt look completely stupid.

Shortly after that i installed the bumper, front over fenders and side skirts

Got a free exhaust, free roof wing from chaser. and picked up these sparco wheels for the rear.

And then my life went into a downward direction after this happened.

went back to stock body(also miss having 300 pairs of wheels)

Okay so lets fast foward. ca blew up and broke a bunch of times so i put a ka back in the car. got new wheels, hood, and kit

Got and SR and RPF1's

I then picked these pile of shits up(damons current wheels)

Hand polished them best i could

then car looked like dooky

ditched those for these, and money to buy type x stuff

Drifted it a bunch more

fixed all the rust and shit on the roof and painted it flat grey

drove it for a week or so then took it off the road to do type x stuff

stock hood then type x lip

roofwing

then some fucking lady texting and driving ruined my life

got the car back from bullshit body shop nothing lines up bondo started to crack in two weeks. fuck them

new shell time. should of took the 2200 check and took the car and said i was gonna fix it my self. And just got a new shell then. intstead im dumb.

picked up this guy

put my stuff on it, sending it off to paint

Plan on swapping my subframes, interior and motor into it when it gets back from paint.

I also just order 2k in parts to install when putting the car back together, this should be fun..

cherry pearl nissan color.

Intentions with the build on the new car is to make a perfect car.

Stuff that just came in all oem from nissan, trying to go legit as possible.

OEM FLCA's driver and passenger
fuel pump gasket
Brand new clutch pedal from nissan
Moog inner and outer tie rods
new 300zx fuel filter
exedy master cylinder for clutch
exedy slave cylinder
isis exhaust bushings(maybe my blastpipes wont fucking rattle anymore?)
nismo trans mount
tie rod boots

and a bunch of other stuff too. Pretty much starting new with alot of stuff i already have, just getting new parts of what i have since ill be putting the grey car back together for someone else to learn how to drive with. Also reason i didn't buy aftermarket lca's is cause im just looking for reliability, and new bushings/balljoints and 3 degrees of camber is enough for me up front.

Also Aiming to run a horn with this car, so i ordered a new hub so it came with all the stuff to do so. anyone have tips on how to keep horns?

I have two tail light centers, black and color matched to the car. I forgot to drop one off with the car for paint..hopefully they can incude painting it for the same price, called and left a message..

Car is back from paint. Today I installed the new lower control arms, tie rods, and tie rod boots. Also the paint shop (maaco) undercoated the car for me.

Really hard to get the color In a picture! haha, But when the sun hits it, it has so much flake its awesome.

New control arm vs old, I also cleaned all the hardware with purple power and they look almost new.

wow that arm kinda looks bent..haha. So glad that i dropped off the tail light center last minute to them..black would of looked like doo..

I'm Saving up for just the kouki left and right tails, I have the money for them now. But with no job this all kinda sucks, so i need to budget to finish the car, see what i have left which will probably be nothing..

I plan on it, to chill with you and josh! haha. I started dissasembling the front end, and ripping out useless ka stuff to get it ready to come out("friend" borrowing hoist)

krylon classic grey, Haha. So glad im done with that. Gonna be nice to be able to detail the car. Gonna have some more updates tommorow, gonna bring the girlfriends camera to the garage with me. Pretty much trying to get as much as i can done, without taking the grey car off the road yet.

the tail lights look ok

instead of saving up for real tails i would save up for another kouki front bumper so that you can do the cut out correctly

color looks cool though
