Of all the truly awful sale ads on this site, why would you choose this one to go after?

The fact that he did post a price and you failed to see, reflects poorly on you. Granted it was further down in the replies but it's far from the offense you make out to be.

Posting a "no text for pics" rule doesn't support your position. Just update the OP, as you did and move on.

It gets annoying when you gotta go down every post to let the OP know that they don't have a price listed. If you want to post in this forum, read the rules before you post. Don't be a cry baby afterwards when the rule is enforced. It is especially annoying when you have 2 or 3 people ask for a price and the OP still doesn't reply.

I agree with you. My point was more that there are many ads that are terrible compared to this. At least his was informative with quality pictures.

They need to implement a standard format, use supraforums as an example and have everyone abide by it. If people can’t follow the standard format then just delete the thread. As a mod it will save themselves the aggravation. The 240 crowd in general doesn’t have a reputation as the brightest bulbs on the tree. Just standardize the process and be done with it.

I "went after" this thread because it was reported numerous times for no price posted.

I didn't bother to read every single reply to the thread. And gave him the reason we post prices even if items are up for trade.

To the OP.

Straight from TN DMV

I quote
"Tennessee emissions testing is generally administered using the onboard diagnostic (OBD) test. The OBD smog check is able to detect high levels of harmful emissions and determine if a vehicle is at risk for emitting dangerous levels of smog in the future. Auto emission testing by use of OBD is done by checking the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) and using a digital tool to scan and check the functionality of car parts that reduce the amount of toxic emissions.

There is an extra step of the vehicle inspection in TN if the car was manufactured after 1996. Newer vehicles will also undergo a catalytic converter test, as well as an inspection of the gas cap. Cars with a model year older than 1996 may need an additional inspection, called the three-point tampering check. This part of the smog check inspection is administered to ensure that the emissions reading was not manipulated to pass the test."

This ride ever have any issues in passing emissions/smog?

GLWS OP, great looking car! Having pieced one together myself that was missing lots of small items I can definitely vouch for the value of a clean and complete FD.

Free bump and perhaps the coffee hasn't kicked in. How many miles on motor and chassis? Again if my eyes are failboating forgive me but I don't see this detail in the listing.
