So I decided to post what I did with my 240 so far.

Off the delivery truck, didnt run, paid $300 from ebay + shipping

Original owner said it might be the timing chain but he didn't know, looked fine to me.

First problem I found that was the car wasnt getting fuel, so I pulled the fuel pump

Im pretty sure the car sat for a loooooong time and the tank was gross so I pulled the tank too

I had 0-70 psi of compression in the cylinders so it was time to take off the head

This is what it looked like, I think the previous owner overheated it because I found some coolant hoses that were fucked later on

head before the rebuild

walbro 255 came in the mail along with a new coolant overflow because mine was rotted away, and a new z32 fuel filter. I also replaced most of the fuel lines and had to buy a new fuel sender unit because mine was shot.

Almost done with the reassembly

DONE! very satisfied at this point everything went pretty smooth.

After I got the car running I started working on cleaning it up

License plate lights (over spray from original owner)

LEDs because why not

Gave the bay a decent cleaning

Painting my popup bezels

Got a new door panel and the sending unit I needed for cheap

Also replaced my blown struts and got new tires but don't have a picture, next up will be a new diff because my open diff is blown.

Sorry kind of new here, is there a bb code to make thumbnails? I tried just using quotes but I guess it didn't work. Its weird every other time I look at the thread the pictures resize themselfs.

Bought some 15" wheels. Still need lots of cleaning but I like em.
