No start 240
Okay fellas. New here. 96 Nissan 240SX SE SR-20swap But driveshaft fell out from center and jolted the car a bit. Waiting on the bolts for the DS now. But tried to start it and starter doesn’t click or anything. But will smoke a little. Any tips or help?

Smoke looked to be coming from right under my dash. I have the glovebox out but also have two holes in my firewall it could come in from outside from the starter itself. Starter is hooked up. When I turn the key a couple times I hear it click. Other times I get the slight smoke.

step 1: collect all the smoke that came out
step 2: put the smoke back in where it came from. furrealz tho, you hafta find out what is either grounding out that shouldn't be, or isn't grounding out that should be. |

Don't make anymore smoke. Find what is melting first. If coming from under dash... there is only about 2 places I could see an issue. The most likely is the ignition switch. So does the smoke come out near the steering wheel? Because thats the ign. switch.
If smoke comes out from the far right, passenger kick panel that is the ECU and F3 plug and eccs relay. |
