i have been lurking here for 8 years but never posted anything for sale .

in phoenix and have a 1997 nissan 240sx for sale on craigslist phoenix .

lots of pictures and about the car , i am 81 years old and decided to get a car with a warranty .

i really don't know if it is priced too high , do you guys think it is priced too high ? after having it for over 8 yrs i kind of hate to even sell it but i am kind of burned out working on cars and motorcycles .

"I am selling my 1997 nissan 240sx that i have had over 8 years , no accidents , clean title , 149,800 miles ( it had 96,000 miles when i bought it ) , automatic transmission that is great , it has a Tru-Cool LPD4452 cooler and a inline magnetic filter between radiator and tranny.

dash is not cracked , also non-leaking sunroof , car has always been in garaged since mine .

ac/heater work great never a problem , engine oil 5w/20 synth .

about a year ago adjustable tension pillow rods was installed then front end alignment by jacks in phoenix , also new a year ago brake rotors/discs/pads installed .

leather seats , the driver seat needs help as can be seen on picture , sony am/fm/cd exc sound .

the car has Injen cold air intake , greddy cat back , unorthodox underdrive crank pulley , konig 4 lug wheels , tires have around 5,000 miles on them , also viper system , 3 keys with and 4 remotes , car has a ultra gauge as seen in picture ( it will show everything the ecu sees) , you can select what you want to watch , it will show and clear cel's .

the car will come with a lot of spare parts --dist with wires - org crank pulley with belts - throttle body with tps on it - new fuel pump - 2 ea ecu units - owners manual - factory service manual - 3 oil filters - evap canister - purge valve , new cat converter , extra injen air filter , extra sony am/fm/cd radio , spare car battery ( not on pictures ) . extra climate control unit , i may have forgot things but everything on the picture plus the extra car battery .

now the bad , the car will throw a code 1447 which is a evap problem , i replaced the evap canister and control valve , no help , it may have a small leak , i don't know , but when it is fixed the car will pass the obd2 emissions test , the code 1447 does not effect how the car runs , i would drive it anywhere in the US now .

This is a good price for a car in that condition. Seats can easily be sourced (for cheap) and the engine problems aren't insurmountable.

It's also one of the best colors lol. Bump.

price drop to $5,000 , i really don't need 2 cars and the drop will help with the travel if someone buys it .

went from one of the greatest cars to a 2018 hyundai elantra gt , but still 4yrs warranty on it .
