DIY PS & Alt belt tensioners.

So both of the bastards on my engine are broken. Has anyone successfully made their own? Or know where to source them reliably?

Thanks amigos!

Broke one on a Subaru once on a customer's car, tried to make one, but the hardware store just didn't have what I needed. Best bet would probably be to find a part out locally or in the fs section here. Good luck

Yes. Looking to see if anyone has fabricated one since there seems to be no source to buy them and they fail often. Thanks for your input.

i shove a pipe in between the motor and the alternator/ps pump and pry them apart, then tighten the other little nut.
