The what did I get myself into build thread

Whatsup everyone, my names Steve and im a Long Island native. Since ive been able to drive ive always been into Volkswagens and ive had three. Each one a little bit worse then the next haha. I never seemed to have any luck with the cars Ive owned in the past.

Ive always been a huge fan of 240's so I decided to finally pick one up.

Its an 89 coupe with an sr20det swapped into it.

So far im basically in love with it. The car is nothing like ive ever owned before. One thing that I probably should have done before getting myself involved is do a little more research. I know very little about this platform, but my impulsive self just jumped on it basically the second I saw it.

-Apexi n1 full exhaust
-Megan street coilovers
-Adjustable rear upper and lower control arms
-1 piece aluminum drive shaft
-S15 5 lug swap with big brakes
-S14 vlsd
-Hks turbo timer
-AEM wideband


So I bought the car with a fair amount of work done to it. My plan is to get it running right and then replace things that are in need of replacing so I can DD it with more confidence haha. After all that some new coilover's and wheels would be cool. The car without a doubt needs to be tuned, and the turbo is going to need replacing soon. So those are the first things on the list.
