i have one of these on my driver door. works great and it was cheap. i cant do the ashtray thing since made that space into a switch panel with a battery kill

The reworked cup form is working better now but I'm still having issues with the top edge of the cup form. I plan on making a piece of MDF that I can press into the soft plastic on the backside to try and manually form the lip, but I've been a little distracted lately with a few other projects that have been demanding my attention. I'm just set on the coin holder idea because it looks super clean right there like it could have been a factory option.

I could do the armrest thing easy, all you need is a hole saw and a plastic cup lol. I think it puts the drink to far back and in the way of your elbow as well as looks kinda janky like an after thought.

i don't like the pull out upholders because they get in the way of your radio and a/c usage
