For sale is a complete early year 18rg engine (Needs assembly) minus carburetors. Email with questions and offers.

Engine was intended to be a period correct replacement for my 1973 Celica RA21 no expense was spared. When built engine should be close to 300HP-ish with an amazing RPM range.

Just to give you an idea of my cost pistons alone were 600 and block machining was 400, not to mention having to find the engine. Rare opportunity to own an early twin came Toyota engine that's also a hemi.

Details (Read these)

Engine block cleaned and bored to 91mm (done by Yo at Contemporary Auto Machine in HB)
Crank has been balanced and polished (Specific measurements are on a tag attached to crank)
Also been cleaned by Yo
New in the box bearing set for crank
New in the box bearing set for connecting rods
Stock connecting rods (will need new bushing for pistons, Joel at ToySport has them)
Wiseco 91mm piston set (New in box, with all rings etc... High Compression pistons)
These pistons were custom designed and ordered by Joel at ToySport.
Brand new FelPro gasket set for 18rg
Original timing gears and chains
Original Aluminium timing cover
Multiple oil pans (depending on your configuration there should be one to fit your car, includes pick ups)
Early Year 18rg Cylinder Head (has larger ports, that have been ported and polished.)
Could use a once over and assembly from Joel
Custom ground CamShafts (specs unknown but they are in great condition and recommend using)
Original Valves, Springs, seats, etc...
Comes with two head covers 1 semi-polished and 1 with the original black matte finish.

Original exhaust manifold.
Original and complete distributor assembly
