looking to get 98 s14 SE

Last night i met an older dude that had a pretty clean 98 S14 SE it's in great condition but has some problems im concerned about. It was in an accident and replaced the passenger headlight hood an passenger fender. He said its clean title in his name so im guessing he didnt report accident to his insurance. What has me kinda sketchy is the Radiator support. It looks pretty mangled along with the plate that the battery sits on. My buddy Deviance said it should be an easy fix but i dont want there to be fram damage along with this problem. Heres the link:1998 Nissan 240SX SE 5 spd -------- - $8000 (San Diego)
Heres 2 pics I took kinda shitty tho.
In between batter an rad support.

This one is the passenger side rad support.

I offered the guy $7k but im not sure because of this damage

i know its very hard to tell from pics but i couldnt rip apart the front end to check. He assures me that he was assured there was no frame damage.
I offered him $7000 which is fair but maybe i should offer a little less because i need to replace that rad support along with suspension and paint.
good buy or stay away?

Not a big deal, that's not an important area. If the strut tower or lower core support were bent that would be a different story. just buy it. If its clean otherwise 7k is not a bad deal at all

Regardless of what you think, the upper radiator support does add some chassis stiffening, so it is an important part of the car.

OP, if you can do the work, get the car cheap, you may have a deal on your hands. However, that damage is only repairable by replacing the WHOLE core support, unless you find someone with damage else where you can steal what you need from.

7k is way over priced for a wrecked Kouki.

Ouch 8K.... I paid 5K for my 98. Straight framed and came with Stance Coilovers and AM rims.

Just take it to a frame shop, should be cake to fix that
