If I was in the market I'd like to pay 6k but would come up to 6500 maybe even 6750 because I know the chances of finding something like this are just getting slimmer and slimmer. Good price

Is this where I bring up that near-mint 911SC that I could have bought 10 years ago for $8k? Last time I checked, we don't live 10 years ago.

Hold onto your asking price. This is a perfect example of a clean platform that someone could use to build into whatever they want. I sold my '97 Kouki with 87k miles for $19.5k in January 2017, granted it had a properly built RB25 and plenty of suspension mods. From my experience, the reason why it sold for such a price is because the car wasn't ruined. Interior was almost bone stock besides the 3 gauges on the a-pillar. Exterior was bone stock besides the WORK VS-XX's.
After law school, I plan on purchasing a bone stock S14 and having a reputable shop (RS SPEED DESIGN located in GLENDALE CA) restore and build the car exactly the way I want. If I was in the market, I would definitely pay at or near asking price to scoop up a fresh S14 like yours. Don't listen to the typical broke ass people. They were also offering me $13k for my car. And then someone flew out from the east coast with his wife and paid full asking price.

I'd also like to add... just because a car has an SR doesn't necessarily mean it's worth more than a bone stock KA24DE. SR's were cool.... 20 years ago... It really depends on what a buyer is looking for.
There are many cars with SR swaps out there, and many of those swaps are done poorly... messy wiring, no A/C, gauges don't work, etc... Someone looking for a low-mileage S14 is unlikely to be looking for a car with a shitty swap with no A/C.
