S14 Tein HE Drift Spec coilovers

Bought these from a fellow zilvian in the past.

Reason for sale: Trying to get an air set up from my buddy.

I've got a set of these discontinued (pretty hard to find) rebuildable - OG coils. Spring rate of 10k front 8k rear. A little stiff but sturdy enough for whipping around the track and street. 500 miles put on them. Past owner put on 10k. Will maybe entertain trades for some other coils. Not blown and no leaks. Hit me up. The worst I can say is No.

$550 - Price is firm. Will ship at buyers expense.

Knobs are in good working condition. No breaks. No freezing. 24 levels of dampening.

GLWS my friend! I hate Teins after trying to get my old HE's rebuilt..

These would cost around $1400 to rebuild.. I have a set of OG type HE winding masters and tein quoted me($1400) that to rebuild the 4 dampeners..

Yikes. Sorry to hear that. I'm glad to have great set. And they ride very well. But I've been wanting to try air for a while. But I'm a coil guy at heart. So I may go back later and get a set of silvers neomac. Or if I'm baller KW clubsports.

Its only 16 levels of damping force adjustment. Unless you have an EDFC and set it to 1/2 clicks then it becomes 32

GLWS. I had HE on one of my old S13's and they are awesome. Pretty stiff for daily but amazing on track.

Honestly dude your coilovers were probably beat to shit and needed a bunch of parts from Japan. Ive had multiple kits rebuilt through TEIN and it never cost that much.

OP coilovers look like they are in great shape which means it would only cost $100 bucks each.

Wrong. Well partially,They're old and discontinued. They don't have just a replacement dampener for the old HE style coilovers. You can buy a replacement for like $100 or so if you have new style teins.
They would have to rework the dampener completely or sell you a new set of teins for $1100.
Edit: New seals and a recharge would be about $100 each. I was quoted for a complete overhaul of 4 dampeners.

Not trying to shit on OP's thread. I owned my HE's for 9 years and absolutely love them, that's why I wanted them to be rebuilt. I'm just informing of my experience with tein and my coils.
