That's an Integra GSR trans. You'll need a clutch for a Suzuki Samurai and a flywheel from an 87-93 5.0 Mustang.

Correct. Also make absolutely sure that you grease the friction material of the clutch disk before installing it onto the flywheel, otherwise it'll overheat from the torque the engine can produce and it'll shatter.

Are you sure its an Acura tranny and not a Honda Civic trans? I know it can be hard to tell them apart, especially when my laptop had a stroke trying to render those pictures.

Definitely a GSR Tranny, mine looked like that when I got my RB25. Dont doubt these guys, they know their shit, they are on Zilvia, that's credible enough.

Looks like a late series GMC tranny retrofitted onto that rb25. Best way to figure out what tranny you have is to pull the tranny, and measure the distance between mounting bolts. Cross reference them with a Napa auto store or your nearest AutoZone. Don't go to advance, they don't have this cross reference.

I own a rb25, I know what I'm talking about.

How do you know? Seven or more people just told you its a GSR transmission, why dont you believe us? what if one of them came out and said its a Mercedes transmission? ahh...the dilemma. We were given the internet for research, not to get yes or no answers.

Its a GSR tranny

They are messing with you dood. It is not a gsr transmission, it's a late series GMC tranny. It's a popular mod to do with rb25's. Late series GMC's are known to be bullet proof and line up perfectly with rb25's. Saves money on buying clutches since domestic performance parts are not as costly as rb parts.

Guys, you are all dicks for trolling this kid on his rb25. It's a genuine question and you have no right to troll him

FInal answer , the correct answer = late series GMC transmission. Take it out, measure the distances between mounting bolts. It'll give you the exact model and year transmission.

Why didn't you ask the person you bought it from. And if you were dumb enough to believe them you shouldn't have a 240sx.

tokyowheels4real......

You need to re-examine your post. With a straight face, you cant post up these super large, grainy photos that are out of focus, of parts covered in dirt and grime - and then expect us to give you an honest answer. Its not our job to know whats installed on your car. You need to know whats installed on your car. AND, if you need our help, you need to clean things up and make it easy for us to help you.

With that said, its most definitely a GSR transmission,

Have we officially determined this is indeed an RB25? Those only came in the sacred Skyline 's of Japan. I'm pretty sure this is just a rb cam cover retrofitted to a ka head...

Just be sure you get your pressure plate bolts for the GSR hydro trans, not the cable trans.

Okay man just listen to them I was asking the same questions when I got my rb ready to go in. It's definitely a Gsr tranny no doubt about that. As for the flywheel. Not the samurai. Get the corvette one it's the perfect size since rb parts are hard to come by in the us

+ rep for the most legitimate answer here.

87-93 5.0 Mustang is a single mass lightweight flywheel from factory. 14lbs I think?

Just make sure to torque the flywheel bolts and use red loctite so they don't back out, ask me how I know.

You see that's the nature of trannys, it's kind of hard to tell.
