Thanks again for everyone's opinion, they are all greatly appreciated! I think I'm going to go ahead and focus on the 2-way LSD and then coilovers.

Personally, I would just piece it up, get lsd and then the coilovers. Just ride stock for now, then when the time comes install both at the same time or what not. You will see a big difference.

i seriously still dont understand why you guys say welded diffs uses up more tires than a real lsd. Heck it wears the same when i had an open diff. I run a welded dd for years.

^^THIS. OP, I don't know you but I have serious doubts about you eventually tracking your car, as you put it. Everyone says that, especially young kids who just copped an S-chassis. If you don't have money to spend and you MUST have your car lowered and an LSD, just get the Megan coils and a factory JDM VLSD with the 4.08 gear.

I would buy New Megan stuff rather than buy used JDM/ other good brand. At least I am helping the economy out.

I cheaped out too many times and learned my lessons, but really, Megan coils are not cheap stuff. They are fine. If we know Apexi and Megan's coilovers come from the same factory, and you do not know if the material used to make these coilovers are different, then you cannot say Megan is shit when "Trusted brand Apexi" is good.

Dude do you actually have a clue as what to you are talking about? eh NOT! Megans come from BC's aka Bor Chuans(or however it spelled) factory as do the bottom of the line Apexi. Anything above the bottom of the line Apexi is not made by them(BC) and is a totally different shock. To compare all Apexi to Megans is just dumb.

Oh and bottom of the line Apexi suck just like Megans suck, just like BC racing suck., just like Godspeed, Ksport and any other sub $900 coilover. Oh and pretty much most of Coilovers coming out of Japan as well. Except for a few top of the line names and even those do not compare to Koni, Ohlin, Aragosta,Bilstein, Molton, Penske.
