SPL Outer Z33 Inner- Bottom Shanks hit the stock LCA at FullLock

Hi,

Just installed the s13 spl outer with z33 tein inners with spacer. After installation, i turned the wheel to full lock and the bottom shank hits my LCA.

Does anyone else experience this problem? How do i fix it?

In addition, i read in the instructions to use 2 spacers on the shank for normal but i've also heard that you should use enough spacers to where the tie rod is at the same angle as the LCA after you jack up the LCA to mimick the car being on the ground.

Well the PBM lca is designed around the PBM steering knuckle, and he's on stock knuckles so that explains why it doesn't line up on that thread.

What parts are you running besides the tie rods? Pics would help a lot too.

Sounds like too much spacer on the tie rod shank which is spacing the tie rod end down too far.

So I added more misalignment spacers and that seems to solve the problem.

Went for a drive today and noticed that when turning the steering wheels doesn't auto turn back when going out of a corner. Is this common with sperical outer tie rods?
