dropped my oil pan the other day cause of spun bearing....pics inside
so as some of you know my sr spun a rod bearing :fight056....we didnt really know how bad it was so we decided to drop the oil pan and see whats going on....what we found isnt too promising.....
and the worst, after draining all i could and it settle to one side....... thoughts?? |

I would rebuild or replace EVERYTHING that sees oil. With metal shavings like that they more than likely got everywhere. Better to just rebuild it all or replace it than put it all back together and have something contaminate your fresh motor with shavings.

make sure you get that block hot tanked so the oil galleries are cleaned out
good luck on the rebuild, hopefully the crank can be polished or turned
