Hell not even parts and labor. If u really paid out that much I'm sorry but u got bent over dry. U couldn't sell this thing for half what your asking especially not finished. Y don't u finish it and keep it and get your 25k worth of enjoyment out of it. Then u won't feel bad selling it for what it's worth.

You should look at the market and see what it shows you.

There are turbo built ls1 240s going for 1/2 less of the price your going for.

They may not even get that amount as well.






Kids need to know that blowing your money into your car isnt an investment.

Only time you make money is when you buy a stock car with a blown motor for $800 and you rebuilt the engine and sell it for $3500....

That wasnt a stock ls1 engine idiot. It was an ASA race engine out of a race sedan. Id be willing to wager that cars engine is worth more than your entire pile of mismatched half assed parts.

Car looks really good man. Like I said before wasn't trying to shit on your build. Quality parts and a quality looking. But what I'm (and A few others) are trying to say is if your hurtin for cash and need money quick, your never gonna see 25k as it sits. Even put back together. Ur asking price exceeds turbo cars with badass paint jobs. The great thing about advice is you don't have to take it but if I was you I'd keep it, paint it, do whatever little things need to be done and sit on it for a while. The market for these cars is continually growing. There's less and less well built clean 240's every year and eventually u can get 25k. But right now nobody has money and if they do they're not spending it on an LS 240 even ones clean as yours. Don't get booty hurt it's just facts

You will not get 20k for an untainted LS swapped s13. Hate to burst your bubble but the labor YOU put in this car in YOUR free time does not add to the price of the car. You will also never get what you put in to a car, did you really not know this going into it? Well I had a widebody hatch with the stock ls1 in it, 180sx aero, 326power wing, etc. And it got totaled and they said they could only give me $3k for the car cause that's all it worth. Well long story short, I went back and printed receipts off my PayPal with descriptions of the part to prove it was worth more than $3k and added it up and I had $16,000 in it. I ended up getting $8000 for damage repair so they wouldn't total it and I took the $8000, and all my parts off my hatch, and put all of it in this car. I took the $16, 000 and added $8000 and you do the math. But I forgot I sold some of the stuff. Whoever buys the car, I will show you every receipt for the car. If you ain't buying it nor have anything positive to say, then fuck off. If whoever buys it doesn't believe I have in it what I do, then I'll gladly give you a folder full of receipts. Thanks.

Honestly, I was truly curious why someone had a quote where you said $25,000 in parts, but later changed it to $17,000.

That said the swap looks clean and I really like the oil filter setup. Contrary to what others said, I think the wheels look great. With some paint, this car would get some serious attention.
